Introduction

Welcome to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition section! Here we will go through some Basic Bedrock Editon server setup so you can play with your friends no matter on what platform they are on!

Bedrock Edition is a cross-platform family of Minecraft editions. These are Pocket Edition, Windows 10 Edition, Xbox One Edition, PlayStation 4 Edition, Nintendo Switch Edition, Gear VR Edition and FireTV Edition.

What will we be using?

Mojang has released official Bedrock Dedicated Server software, but it's still in early alpha phase, not stable and doesn't support any type of modifications.

We will be using Cloudburst Nukkit and PowerNukkit! An unofficial Minecraft Bedrock Edition server software. They offer plugin support with lots of plugins to choose from resource page.

Note on PocketMine-MP and Bedrock Dedicated Server Support

At this time, PocketMine-MP and Bedrock Dedicated Server are not supported on FreeMC.Host. Support for them will be coming in the future.

PowerNukkit

PowerNukkit is a modified version of Cloudburst Nukkit which adds better support for new blocks, new block variants, block water-logging, off-hand slot, redstone and many more.
Due to these improvements, running PowerNukkit is recommended for your Bedrock Editon server.
